What Happens Next
- Your eligibility will be verified and application and support materials will be reviewed by your facility's Grant Leader (typically your facility's HR Director).
- Your application will be assigned a random case number to ensure confidentiality. Only your facility's Grant Leader and the Hope Fund staff will know your identity. All identifying information will be removed from the application before your local committee reviews it.
- Your facility's local fund committee, which is made up of a diverse group of employees, will review and discuss all applications and supporting materials. The goal of the Hope Fund staff is to respond within five business days of receiving your application from the Local Committee.
- After the meeting, the local committee will submit the applications and materials, along with their recommendations, to the Hope Fund staff in Nashville.
- If your application has been approved for assistance, the grant is typically provided directly to you via direct deposit into your bank account or a check made out to you. In some situations, a check may be issued directly to a creditor.
- If your application is declined, you will receive a formal declination letter stating the reason why it was declined.
