When Beth started having seizures, our HCA Healthcare family gave her hope

Beth Lange, a billing reports analyst for the Tampa Shared Services Center, began experiencing seizures out of the blue.

She endured six relentless months of tests, specialists, and hospital stays, all while scrambling to find a new home when the one she and her family were renting was suddenly sold.

Beth found herself out of work, struggling to manage her seizures and confronting an unexpected move – all at once. Overwhelmed, she thought about the Hope Fund, a cause she herself supported. “I knew about it and had donated,” she said. “But reading the testimonials of others made me think, ‘Why not just try?’ I also had my faith, and many people praying for me.”

Receiving assistance felt like an answer to Beth’s prayers. Today, she is free from side effects and seizures, and she feels blessed to be part of a community of colleagues helping one another through the Hope Fund. “It’s a hand up,” she said, grateful for the support that made a profound difference in her life.
