Meet the Mitchell family. Becky, an office manager based in Texas, recently received Hope Fund assistance, and sent in this touching note about the difference it made in her family’s life. We are grateful to the colleagues that donate and for their continued support of the HCA Healthcare Hope Fund and most importantly for keeping their promise to improve more lives and ease the burden financially for colleagues and their families.

A couple of months ago my husband, a United States Army Veteran, was diagnosed with a rare type of cancer (Epithelioid Fibrosarcoma). The diagnosis was a hard hit for our family knowing he would have to go through multiple surgeries, radiation and the financial crisis that comes with it all. During this troubling time for my family, your generosity has helped us tremendously. I am so grateful to work for such an amazing corporation that has many resources like the Hope Fund.
